Think about what you really need in your life. Think about what skills it requires to get what you need or wish to achieve. Aquire those skills and be patient practicing them. At first, learn how to do it well, then increase speed.
Often you will find that all you need is a shelter, a capability to create fire/heat and a capability to get enough water, along with balanced food.
Add a couple of good friends to it and you are set, you would normally realize that you actually are happy.
Make sure you carry a minimal set of those tools, which you need to create the minimal of the above, at all times. (I will add a short list of what I figured out at some point)
Keep in mind, one of your most useful instruments is your body (aside of the brain :))
Excercise with it every day, minimum 3 different muscle groups every morning, it sounds heavier as it actually is and will take you only 15-20 minutes every morning but it will give you much more in return.
